MADRID-AVILA-SALAMANCA
Departure from our
bus Terminal at 8:00 a.m. to Avila, Castilian city which preserves its
medieval wall. Free time to know the walled city and old quarters and
continuation to Salamanca. Time at leisure to walk through this
monumental city and its famous Plaza Mayor. Dinner and accommodations.
2nd. Day SALAMANCA-COIMBRA
Breakfast and
departure to Ciudad Rodrigo and the Portuguese border to continue via
Guarda towards Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe
and birthplace of Fado, the music of Portugal. Dinner and
accommodations.
3rd. Day COIMBRA-FATIMA-LISBON
Breakfast.
Departure to Fatima, important pilgrimage center. Time free to visit the
Shrine and afterwards continuation to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal
located at the mouth of river Tagus. Accommodations.
4th. Day LISBON
Breakfast and
accommodations. Morning city sightseeing tour: old Alfama Quarter, Tower
of Belem, Monastery of Los Jeronimos, etc. Afternoon at leisure.
Optional tour to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril.
5th. Day
LISBON-CACERES-SEVILLA
Breakfast. Departure to the border with Spain and continuation to
Cáceres. Time at leisure to know its Plaza Mayor and to walk through the
old city and its famous medieval quarter, very well preserved and
considered as World Heritage place. Lunch at your own. Continuation
southwards to Andalucía and arrival to Sevilla. Dinner and
accommodations.
6th. Day SEVILLA
Half board in the
hotel. Morning city tour visiting the Park of María Luisa, Plaza de
España and typical Barrio de Santa Cruz. Afternoon at leisure.
7th. Day SEVILLA-RONDA-COSTA
DEL SOL
After breakfast
departure to the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. Free time in
this picturesque town, and continue to cosmopolitan Costa del Sol.
Dinner and accommodations.
8th. Day COSTA DEL
SOL-ALGECIRAS-FES
Breakfast.
Departure for Algeciras to board the ferry crossing the Strait of
Gibraltar towards Africa. Continuation to Fes. Dinner and
accommodations.
9th. Day FES
Half board. Morning
city sightseeing visiting the Old Casbah and its IX century streets. Afternoon at leisure.
10th. Day FES-MEKNES-MARRAKECH
Breakfast.
Departure to Meknes. Panoramic rolling tour of this walled city and
continuation to Marrakech. Dinner and accommodations.
11th. Day MARRAKECH
Half board. Morning
sightseeing tour visiting the Summer Royal Palace, Tombs Saadi, Kotoubia
Tower and the famous Djemaa el Fna Square. Afternoon free to continue
discovering this exciting city on your own.
12th. Day
MARRAKECH-CASABLANCA-RABAT
Breakfast and
departure to Casablanca. Panoramic rolling tour of this cosmopolitan
city. Continuation to Rabat, capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Dinner
and accommodations.
13th. Day RABAT-TANGIER
Breakfast.
Sightseeing tour visiting the outside of Royal Palace, Mausoleum of King
Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. After the visit departure to Tangier.
Panoramic rolling tour. Dinner and accommodations.
14th. Day TANGIER-ALGECIRAS-COSTA
DEL SOL
Breakfast.
Departure to board the ferry back
to Algeciras. Continuation to Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodations.
15th. Day COSTA DEL
SOL-GRANADA
Breakfast.
Departure to Granada. Sightseeing tour including the impressive Alhambra
with its beautiful Nazari Palace and the Generalife. Dinner and
accommodations.
16th. Day
GRANADA-TOLEDO-MADRID
Breakfast and
departure towards the Imperial City of Toledo, full of history and
monuments. Lunch and city sightseeing throughout its narrow streets and
alleys. Continuation back to Madrid. Arrival and end of the services.
